What a Find! – Gastronomia e Bistrot “Il Tagliere”

We discovered Il Tagliere through Google Reviews and ended up eating there twice during our week in Taranto — and both times were exceptional. Without a doubt, it was the best food we had in the city.

Our first visit was in person, and we were warmly welcomed by the hospitable staff. The food was absolutely delicious, and the experience was made even better by the convenience of ample parking right next to the restaurant.

On our second try, we decided to order through Just Eat, but unfortunately the order was declined. To our surprise and delight, Manuela kindly called us back personally to take the order, and Giuseppe even delivered the food to our hotel himself. Such personal service is rare — we felt completely spoiled.

We wholeheartedly recommend Il Tagliere for both its outstanding food and truly generous hospitality. We’re already looking forward to returning on our next visit to Taranto.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Un’esperienza semplicemente fantastica! I sapori dei piatti erano in perfetta armonia: freschezza, consistenza croccante, la giusta acidità e un condimento equilibrato. Di solito non sono un’amante del pesce o dei frutti di mare, ma ho assaggiato l’antipasto di mio marito… e l’avrei mangiato tutto io! Vogliamo ringraziare di cuore Giuseppe e Manu per la loro pazienza e gentilezza. Non parliamo né italiano né inglese, ma ci hanno aspettato con premura e grande disponibilità mentre scrivevamo tutto nel traduttore. Giuseppe ci ha consigliato un vino squisito, che è diventato subito il preferito di mio marito; a me invece, che non bevo alcolici, hanno offerto una birra italiana davvero deliziosa. Anche i nostri bambini si sono sentiti perfettamente a loro agio. Non abbiamo solo conosciuto un ristorante fantastico, ma anche delle persone meravigliose. Vi auguriamo con tutto il cuore di continuare ad avere successo! Speriamo di rivederci presto! Se fosse possibile, darei più di 5 stelle su 5! 🌟

Egyszerűen fantasztikus élmény volt! Az ételek ízvilága tökéletes harmóniában volt: megvolt bennük a frissesség, a roppanó textúra, a megfelelő savasság, és a fűszerezés is pont tökéletesen volt eltalálva. Bár alapvetően nem vagyok a tengergyümölcsei rajongója, mégis megkóstoltam a férjem előételét és legszívesebben az egészet én ettem volna meg! Ezúton is szeretnénk megköszönni Giuseppének és Manunak a türelmet és kedvességet. Nem beszélünk sem olaszul, sem angolul, mégis figyelmesen, segítőkészen és nagy türelemmel vártak ránk, amíg mindent bepötyögtünk a fordítóba. Giuseppe ajánlott nekünk egy csodás bort, amiben a férjem meg is találta a kedvencét, nekem pedig mivel nem iszom alkoholt egy nagyon finom olasz sört kínáltak. A gyermekeink is teljesen otthon érezték magukat. Az egész este arról szólt, hogy nemcsak egy fantasztikus kis helyet ismertünk meg, hanem csodálatos embereket is. Szívből kívánjuk, hogy továbbra is ilyen sikeresek maradjatok! Reméljük, még találkozunk! Ha lehetne, nem 5-ből 5 csillagot, hanem még...

Lovely surprise!

I admit Il Tagliere caught my eye at first thanks to its lovely reviews and now I understand why. We needed a place for dinner not too far from our hotel on our last night there and Il Tagliere did not disappoint. While the food was lovely, it was the service that really stood up for me. The people that served us were friendly and extremely attentive, from the moment they greeted us to the moment they shock our hand farewell. Too bad it was out last night, we’d go back for sure.
