"Imagine driving your rental car up the mountain and being completely overwhelmed". This is exactly what happened to us today when we climbed Monte Albo. The switchbacks to the top are just gorgeous. You should definitely stop at the side of the road more often to enjoy the view and the breathtaking landscape and capture it with your camera. Once at the top, an idyllic and traditional mountain restaurant awaits - the Ammentos. A very tasty glass of red wine, Sardinian bread and delicious ham, salami and pecorino round off the ascent! This is a wonderful place in many ways: a great view of the sea, the mountains and the island Tavolara.
