Wow. An amazing discovery off the beaten track! Recommended by our host in the area, we were really impressed with the restaurant. The service is really friendly. Homemade really tasty food - we ate vitello and pasta carbonara, the best we’ve had in a long time! Their deserts are GREAT. And prices are VERY affordable. Note: Road to get there is narrow and has a lot of curves though - people drive through it fast...

We wanted to get away from the lake heat and get some fresh mountain air and food.

The food at Hostaria Funicolare was superb. Simple items like Milanese and Cheese Gnocchi tasted exquisite.
