Tre Piatti — Restaurant in Loreto Aprutino

We met a couple and they said we must MUST go here and I thought ok we will!! I now consider these gentlemen lifelong friends for introducing my bf and I to this lovely restaurant and chef. We ordered two appetizers, a pasta dish and the red snapper. The waiter also recommended we try a half order of a second pasta dish which we did. We did not leave once morsel of anything. Each bite was heavenly. I now know what basil and tyme should taste like (and I grow my own!) it’s my understanding that the menu changes ever 2 weeks or so, what a treat it would be to go to this restaurant each time the chef created a new menu. If you are in PV, add this to your list as a MUST. And if you’re lucky you’ll go again after a menu change and get to try different ones. Although to have the exact same meal would be a dream. My boyfriend doesn’t even like soup, but the potato leak masterpiece with homemade herb soaked croutons and fresh Thyme (I believe) was perfection. People say food is good, but we tend to never be wowed. Listen to this native New Yorker and go here! The chef / owner, the mixologist behind the bar, the attentive wait staff, the smiles seeping through the masks, if only all dining left the same mark. Oh and the dessert, whatever it is that day order it. I now dream of raspberry...

If you find yourself in Abruzzo, this is a 'must visit' place. Without doubt one of my favourite restaurants in the world, we have been returning here for nearly two decades. Easy to miss, impossible to forget. Antipasti is an experience in itself, a true sample of Abruzzi cuisine. Pasta is light and delicious. The steak and arrostacini are unforgettable. Eleganza cortesia qualità e professionalità. .. Tutto racchiuso in un angolo di pace a 15 minuti dalla città.

Siamo tornati ieri sera per il compleanno della mia donna.. Avevamo prenotato 15gg prima in un noto ristorante nei pressi di Civitella Casanova scegliendo nel dettaglio torta e quant"altro.. ma purtroppo il ristorante era chiuso senza motivo.. ho chiamato per avere spiegazioni.. ho ricevuto come risposta una scusa banale LA PRENOTAZIONE ERA PER PRANZO ... ( ma stranamente nessuno mi ha contattato non vedendoci arrivare a pranzo )..

Quindi veniamo fortunatamente accolti qui dai proprietari fantastici e sorridenti.. Benvenuto con bollicine.. Antipasti di ottima qualità.. Secondi fantastici.. Ottima la cantina e la selezione di vini.. Ma.. Sorpresa delle sorprese.. Conoscendo il motivo per cui eravamo li senza prenotazione.. Hanno preparato una torta con alta professionalità artistica che mi ha permesso di riflettere sull'importanza di scegliere con più accuratezza il luogo dove ristorarsi e sorridere con amici.. Complimenti davvero e grazie per aver risolto alla grande quello che srava diventando un compleanno/incubo.
