We arrived late in the evening and we were given a warm welcome. Our room was beautiful and very clean. ||Because we hadn’t eaten, we got food and local wine, late on our room for only 13 euro. It was delicious! We even got a proposal to get breakfast on our room.||In the morning when we woke up and before breakfast we walked through the garden and it was amazing. They really respect nature, there were butterflies and beautiful roses everywhere.||Breakfast was a bit disappointing, only fresh delicious pies, cookies and sweets. Not real breakfast. For a resort like this we expected a bit more. For example eggs and fresh bread.||After breakfast we hung around the pool, it was magnificent, roses and rosemary everywhere. It smelled great. The pool was clean and the poolbeds were fantastic.||When we asked for some lunch by the pool, the restaurant was closed but we got aperitivo instead and it was way too much but very nice. Very tastefull and much more than we wanted but had to pay 48 euro for the aperitivo’s, two glasses of pro Seco and a bottle of water. A bit much.||After our stay at the pool we went to the spa area and we loved it. It was a bit small but we were the only one. A bubblebath with a great view over the area.||After the Spa we went to the restaurant and all the credits to the waiter. He did his best to please us. The food itself was good, not great and the desserts we’re a bit of a dissapointment. But the waiter and the wine were excellent.||We even asked to stay a day longer and that wasn’t a problem, but when we woke up the next day it was raining so hard and the breakfast were the leftovers from the day before . So we decided to leave anyway. That wasn’t a problem but later when we checked out. We had to pay a penalty of 80 euro’s because they couldn’t sell the room anymore....a bit strange because the resort was almost completely empty and not fair because we just booked another hotel more to the South wich we couldn’t cancel.||After some talking with the reception we came to an agreement everyone was happy with and in the end we had a great time!||So Yes ofcourse the resort has some issues to work out and to better itself. But the potential is amazing! Therefore for me it’s worth...

Read moreThis is our second visit to Villa Anitori. The hotel is about 1km outside Loro Piceno and has spectacular views across the countryside. The building is beautifully restored with modern facilities but still retains touches to its past. ||The rooms are tastefully decorated and have all the comforts you would expect with a luxury hotel||Breakfast is served 7-10 am and is a light continental style breakfast but they will cook eggs to your liking||The pool and garden areas are beautiful and well maintained||Staff are very efficient and friendly and are happy to offer advice. Nothing is too much trouble||The restaurant offers a limited menu but the food is superb however it is in Italian only. We asked to dine on the patio and it was arranged immediately with no effort. They offer a selection of local quality wines (no menu) but they are inexpensive and the waiter...
