This gem in Maierato has been our go-to dinner spot while visiting family. Daniele, his wife, Simona and their daughter Stellina have become great friends to our family. We have been here a few weeks and frequently go to Il Golosone because we know the food will never disappoint. Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. The pizza is always crispy and loaded with delicious toppings and the pasta is always bursting with flavour. We also love the potato croquettes and arancini. My mom and I are vegetarian and Daniele always accommodates us, whipping up the most delicious meals on the fly. The portion sizes, service and quality are top notch. Daniele and his family are always welcoming with warm smiles. You can see how passionate Daniele is about his job and his priority is to make every visit a memorable one. Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely family owned restaurant in Maierato. The service is unmatched. Daniele, his wife and daughter truly care about your experience and are super attentive to your needs. The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths from their pizza and rice balls to their fish based menu during the summer. All ingredients are fresh and the tastes and smells are truly out of this world. Highly recommend...

Siamo stati in questo posto recentemente, e devo dire che il servizio è stato davvero impeccabile! Personale gentile, simpatico e sempre attento (sopratutto Daniele) facendo sentire i clienti a proprio agio. I piatti erano ottimi! ogni giorno Daniele porta delle squisitezze fatte con cura. Se proprio dobbiamo trovare un difetto.. l'ambiente, lascia un pò a desiderare pur non essendo male, potrebbe essere migliorato. I prezzi giusti per ogni pietanza, abbiamo pagato 90 euro per 4 persone (1 porzione di patatine, 3 fritture di calamari, 2 paste al nero di seppia, pesce spada alla griglia, un'insalata, 2 porzioni di gamberetti, una pasta allo scoglio, 3 cannoli siciliani fatti in casa e un tiramisù. In ogni caso ci ritorneremo sicuramente per la qualità del cibo e la professionalità...
