Not cheap, but if you go for beef steaks it’s gonna expensive anywhere. We had Bistecca alla Fiorentina with roasted potatoes, funghi porcini pasta for antipasti and panna cotta with strawberry sauce for dessert. Only 4 stars because everything was good but not amazing and maybe the welcoming, warmness lacks a bit, but this is something typical in this island, very few places where you can feel warmness from the locals. Exceptional pappardelle al cinghiale and fiorentina - highly recommended dishes! Luigi is a lovely man of classic Italian quality. Wine choice is limited and the service should be recognised for a friendly Transinistrian waiter, but a rather unfortunate unwillingness to accept Amex card, even if such option was available. Dopo una lunga strada per raggiungere questo locale scomodo, ho avuto una deludente esperienza che ritengo una vera e propria truffa.

Ordinata una Fiorentina, l'oste mi ha portato il pezzo di carne per l'approvazione. Io, appositamente, non ho detto nulla per vedere cosa avrebbe battuto sullo scontrino.

Quando mi ha portato il conto, ho precisato all'oste che non può scrivere "Fiorentina" nel menù per poi servire una costata. È nata una discussione, durante la quale il titolare si è contraddetto da solo: per giustificarsi, mi ha portato l'etichetta della carne, dove era chiaramente scritto "costata”, anche se avendo visto da prima il taglio sarei stato disposto a pagarglielo comunque come Fiorentina.

La Fiorentina deve includere filetto e controfiletto, è un taglio ben preciso. Spacciare una costata per Fiorentina è ingannevole, soprattutto con turisti e clienti meno esperti. Per di più, alla contestazione il titolare non si è scusato, ma si è agitato e mi ha dato una spinta sulla spalla, un comportamento assolutamente inaccettabile e scortese.

Sconsiglio vivamente questo ristorante per la poca serietà e l'approccio truffaldino. Se cercate una vera Fiorentina, andate altrove: qui vi rifileranno una costata pur sempre buona ma al prezzo di...
