Best Roman food! This Restaurante is like walking to someone’s home and family. It is a family ran restaurant, where Alessandro (Mario and Nella’s son) makes you feel right at home. The food is delicious, Mario makes the best recommendations and gives you a great conversation. Easy parking and right in front of the Cotral’s bus stop. Their bruschettas and hola made pasta are to die for. I highly recommend their amatriciana. Definitely will come back when visiting Rome.

Si mangia benissimo: qui non c’è un piatto che deluda (ho provato antipasti, primi e secondi) e ci si torna facilmente più volte, per mangiare di nuovo lo stesso piatto (perché troppo buono) o per provarne un altro. Non ha nulla di “turistico” e si possono mangiare tutti i piatti tipici della cucina romana con ingredienti freschi e cucinati come a casa. L’ambiente è caloroso, è un ristorante a conduzione famigliare da tanti anni. Il proprietario Alessandro è una persona piacevolissima: non solo ha un occhio attentissimo al dettaglio (è il primo al lavoro ai tavoli) ma è un piacere parlarci e mette a proprio agio i clienti fin da subito. Se volete provare la vera cucina romana non mancatelo, merita tanto.

There is not a dish here that disappoints (I have tried appetisers, first and second courses) and you can easily return several times, to eat the same dish again (because it is too good) or to try another one. There is nothing 'touristy' and you can eat all the typical Roman dishes with fresh and home-cooked ingredients. The ambience is warm and it has been a family-run restaurant for many years. The owner Alessandro is a very pleasant person: not only does he have a great eye for detail, but also puts customers at ease right from the start. We found this restarurant by coincidence and it was a big win. The ambient was very very welcoming, warm and domestic. The service really friendly, nice, we felt like home. Very traditional but extremly good food. We liked it very much. We ate cacio e pepe, ragu with pasta, ravioli with tomato souce. Everything was amazing. Very very gladly...
