Agriturismo Il Tiro — Restaurant in Marsciano

This place was really all we could have wished for. Quiet, the view was wow, simple and authentic. ||The family who runs it happens to be the kindest people, always helpful and warm. We used a lot of Google translate, since we don't speak Italian and they don't speak English we had a lot of fun with translating and learning from each other. We always got all and more help than we needed, despite the langauge barriers. ||We had the place basically for our self during the day and then in the night it was turned to this great and very popular Italian restaurant with great pasta dishes, meat and wine - and holy moly a whole wine cellar of treasures! Before dinner we had an aperitif at the pool,organized by the two charming and sweet teenagers, children of the owners. At the pool you could enjoy the sunset over the Umbrian countryside. The place is close to the bigger cities of Umbria but the place itself takes the breath away and you just want to stay there and enjoy, at least that is what we did. ||If you are in to wine, there is quite a lot of small wineries nearby to visit. ||The room is clean and big. There is a fridge in the hall you can use for fruits and water etc. ||The breakfast by the way was a really good start to the day, simple but with nice jam, bread and hot orange croissant!! The coffee made was tasty and you didn't get to leave the breakfast table before you had at least 2-3 cups of coffee and a chat.||We can only say one thing. We will without doubt recommend this to everyone and come back ourselves year after year after year.|| Thank you so...

We spent 5 days in Il Tiro before going to Rieti, to the athletics European Juniors Championships . The place is excellent for people who want to visit all around Perugia, but who want to stay in a very quiet place, Nice views all around. This is the real agriturismo, in the middle of the fields. And yet, it's only 10' drive to Perugia, 20' to Lago Trasimeno, 20' to Deruta and Torgiano. 25' to Assisi.||The swimming pool is clean and big enough to really swim in. Breakfast is fresh and good.||As this agriturismo used the authentic materials for renovating, it's a solid building with fantastic ceilings in the original bricks. The rooms are very clean.||Umbria is known for very good food and fine restaurants, but you don't have to leave Il Tiro. You will have to try hard to find a better restaurant than Il Tiro. The food is excellent, the wine selection is even better. About some 600 (!) different wine tickets, with amazing wines for a very good price. The wine is a hobby from Chief Walter. He will help you with your choice.||The personnel is always helpful and friendly.||||Another hint if you visit Torgiano or Deruta: restaurant Siro in Torgiano. You will never...
