I stopped in here while on vacation with my wife for a nice dinner while staying nearby. The young man who served us (worse name I unfortunately did not get) was absolutely the best. Not only was his English perfectly fluent, but he made great recommendations from the menu. At the tail end of a two week vacation in Italy, and not speaking much of the language ourselves, it was a welcome treat to not have to subject some poor Italians to my butchery of their lovely language.
We purchased one of their prix fixe menus, including the rustic appetizer platter and grilled meat assortment, adding on a salad, and we shared it all. It was a wonderful selection of Sicilian specialties and was very tasty and will prepared.
No hesitation to recommend this location for tourists, as it seems to be quite popular with the locals! We also found that both the staff and locals did not seem to be bothered by us non Italians, which we found to be fairly common in restaurants that were more frequented by locals.

Read moreWe arrived here at an awkward time when they were closing ON EASTER SUNDAY. What a kind bunch to serve us the eEaster set menu (having said that we turned a few heads when we walked in). We ate 3 courses + carafe of red for £35. Tell me that's not a bargain. Sadly they didn't have a vege secondi for my bébè but her pasta was decent. She rated her artichoke pasta 6/10. But right now , let's talk about my trio pasta and meat second. This was a combination that was a match made in Italian culinary heaven. Each pasta had a relationship with one another which culminated in this customers mouth. Some part of the meat dish were nice but other parts were not so Bueno.
The people were friendly, tried to accommodate our needs and looked after us real nice on our first Easter Sunday in Sicily. I'd love to go again and see the dishes on a non...
