Visiting after 8 years, still a heaven for meat lovers. Overall great price for the performance and the bottle of wine was too good.
We paid in total 140 Euros for 2 Adults and 2 kids.
-2 kg meat including a large bone chunk 70 Euros. -20 Euros for grilled vegetables. -1 bottle water 2 Euros. -1 red wine bottle 15 Euros. -2 Cream Catalana 10 Euros. -2 Tiramisu 12 Euros -Billed Table service tips 12 Euros. Rounding adjustments -1 Euro.
Some scope of improvements.
Better clarity on price, you don't know them until you pay, apart from the Wine. I myself wanted to know the price before coming however after searching for hours had no clue, hence itemized them above. 12 Euros as billed tips and 20 Euros for veggies is on the higher side and guests must be made aware of, no menu card with price. We requested for one Tiramisu to be packed, they gave us in an Aluminium foil, loosely dumped, which was not convenient. Not a complaint however they may think of better options. One word, Sublime! Treat your taste buds, the steak was buttery soft and flavorful. I can say for the first time I liked rare meat, it just melted in my mouth. Probably the best steak that I've tasted till date. The side dishes were good too, grilled veggies and potatoes. The focaccia was okayish, wine was good. Ho cenato in questo locale su consiglio di alcuni amici. Per l'ingresso è necessario esser soci e quindi iscriversi al relativo circolo (gratuito) compilando una scheda apposita.
La formula è molto semplice: carne (bistecca) alla brace con contorni vari + focaccina. Il quantitativo di carne viene suggerito dallo stesso personale.
Nulla da dire sul cibo: ottima la carne (servita su pietra in modo da poter continuare la cottura e mantenere la temperatura), buoni i contorni, ottimi i dolci.
Nota negativa il personale di poche parole. Poche parole in tutti i sensi: ci viene descritta la formula con menù e, nonostante il nostro silenzio (segno di titubanza) la ragazza ha preferito restare in silenzio, fissarci e aspettare una risposta. Al ritiro dei piatti, invece, cadono le posate dal piatto e non ci viene detto nemmeno un "scusatemi". Mi piego per prendere e ridare la posata caduta e non mi viene detto nemmeno un "grazie".
Nota ancora più negativa: assenza di dolci senza lattosio e, attenzione, presenza di contaminazione non segnalata sul senza glutine. Ho chiamato appositamente e chiesto se ci fossero problemi e la risposta è stata "noi cuociamo solo la carne, abbiamo la focaccia ma la prepariamo da un'altra parte e quindi non ci sono problemi". Diciamo che la foto parla da sola.
Location semplice ma efficace e curata. Poco visibile l'ingresso per chi non conosce il locale.
