Trattoria delle Cozze — Restaurant in Mazara del Vallo

We came here in local people recommendedarion and we really lokenit because we asked for a simple Trattoria of fresh and good Fish.

The Cozze at lemon are good and a lot...suggested

The "red shrimps of Mazara del Vallo" were the second size choice, in a portion of 6 and very good. Recommended for people that love them

The first plate "busiate del cozzaro" was excellent as well... Recommended too.

"Frittura di calamari" was very soft and good as well.

About the wine we choosed a "La Segreta" of Planeta of 37cl.. Good as well.

The atmosphere os very very caotic but it's the music of lifr on this restaurant.

Service is very fast.... And kind.

Price are really really fair in 2024.

We had a big group dinner at Trattoria delle Cozze and the food was very good. We shared muscles with olive oil and lemon, muscles in tomato sauce, boiled octopus, busiate with seafood and fried calamari and shrimps. One of our group members had the veal steak because he was tired of eating seafood. The busiate was my favorite, the pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce with all the seafood hit the spot. Other dishes were also very fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is a huge open space, the ambiance is more like a market than a restaurant. It’s loud and hectic. The wait staff was very busy and it was hard to catch their attention. But if you’re in Mazara and you like seafood, this place...

Let me start by saying that the staff is very rude in talking to guests. They need manners and more communication among themselves, as we had to repeat the same stuff again and again. Apart from that the food is amazing and delecious. Everything is fresh and properly prepared. You feel the freshness in everything. The place has a beautiful sea view indoor as well as outdoor. I highly recommend it if you can handle a bit of rudeness. I would recommend sitting outside as inside is too noisy of people talking .
