La Foresteria Ristorante — Restaurant in Menfi

Lets start with the good things: Ambiente really beautiful spot that melt classic sicilian tribes with a modern understanding of a restaurant.

Food We had the menu with 90€ pp. (no wine pairing)No greeting from the kitchen, nothing else. We liked the tuna tartare most, but it doesnt stand out. Anything else was good, but in the relation to the price point where you meet BibGourmand standards or slightly with a little more invest michelin* level, it was. not a good match.

Service The service is not on the level of a premium restaurant. no explanations at all (so if the cooks had an idea, it was not transported by the service team). we had three different waiter ob this evening, so they are no well organized. the „sommelier“ had no time to tell us about the wines and the prices ( :D )…which were good, but we have felt less attention.

At the end we have spend around 380€ + 70€ bottles of wine. which is way to high for a premium ambiente but on average food and under...

Very good restaurant with a nice view over the wine yards. They produce their own wines and they have an incredible range of products. Service is friendly and the highlight is the open kitchen. Very professional restaurant....
