Everything about this restaurant was good except the food and price, that is why I am not giving the 5 stars. It is quite expensive I must say, but I had a problem with the dishes, and again it's my point of view, the dishes are fancy, but I would not say tasty. I was disappointed with the risotto mostly, it supposed to be with pears, nuts and gorgonzola. I do love all three ingredients truly and for me the connection of the tastes, at least the idea was great, but when I find myself struggling with the huge amount of nuts in the risotto I find it hard to enjoy it. I mean: nuts are super heavy fat calorie and make you feel thirst, gorgonzola same. My plate had at least 150 grams of nuts if not more and in the end I was just pulling them and putting aside of the dish cause it was disturbing. I would give 5 stars for the filled onion starter though, compliments to the cheff. 5 stars for the location, service and...

Fale logo, poxa!

Ohhhh we arrived 14:32, waited outside the door for almost 10 minutes trying to get someone's attention, the brunette waitress SAW us and choose to ignore us. I told my husband we should left, but instead he went inside, in the middle of the saloon, smiling as a stupid person, still being ignored for 5 more minutes. Then without a simple "I am sorry" we heard a very rude NO . And then they came here and call me liar, that I didnt waited for 15 .minutes? I have been travelling in Italy for 15 days, 45 more days to go, and if a place claims to be open until determined hour, it should be that hour, not 10 or 15 minutes before. In addition, WE OFFERED TO SIT IN A TABLE OUTSIDE (which were with cloths, no dishes,...

Our first time in Piemont. As we love to eat, we decided to make it special and it was. Ristorante Ca Mea in Miasino little outside of the busy Lago d'Orte. Beautiful place with a garden and a view on the mountains. Friendly staff and the dishes we had were just delicious. We had antipasti (roasted filling onion and goose liver with apples), first course (ragu and spinach ravioli - in a new edition), second (pork belly - wow- sounds strange but how it tastes), dessert (dark chocolate ball fulfilled with a white chicolate with fruits on top hot choclate - just fantastic, could eat it whole night) + bottle of red wine frome piemont. Try it, you won't...
