We have been here before, mediocre food and overpriced but since we were close by and hungry we didn't mind so much. Entered the place and asked for a table with the little Italian we can speak. We could tell the woman was not happy to see us. She replied in Italian something that we didn't understand, we said sorry we don't understand and she turned and in English she yelled at us "ONE MOMENT PLEASE!" And left. Oggi ho provato l'esperienza di un pranzo presso questo ristorante. Non ho nulla da criticare circa le portate ordinate, totalmente apprezzate per qualità e prezzo, pur considerando il piccolo aumento sul menù convenzionale, trattandosi del giorno di Pasqua. Quello che ha fatto scadere l'impatto è il fatto che quando abbiamo scartato l'ordinazione dall'antipasto, ci viene detto che ciò non era possibile perché integrante il menù. Pensando che si sarebbe magari trattato di un piatto centrale da stuzzicare tutti insieme, eravamo in quattro, abbiamo deciso di accettarli. Normalmente non prendo MAI l'antipasto, perché preferisco assaporare i primi e i secondi. Iniziamo quindi a pranzare con un piattino di un normalissimo e abbastanza ridotto antipasto, proseguendo in seguito con le altre portate. All'atto della richiesta del conto, ci siamo visti imputare l'antipasto a 17.00€ a testa, lo stesso costo di un ottimo secondo di cinghiale e polenta e altri piatti ancora. Ovviamente non ne faccio un questione di soldi, ma qualcuno deve spiegarmi perché non ho potuto rifiutare questa portata, forse anche per colpa mia che non ho dato la giusta interpretazione al personale di servizio. Great dining experience here in a nice setting, specialty is polenta but anything else is good. Your host is the owner Carla and she will pay attention to detail and is concerned about your satisfaction. I suggest polenta with cheese and mushrooms, or boar stew with polenta.
