Gobbato Bakery — Restaurant in Milan

As a tourists, we stayed nearby this bakery and were visiting it everyday for slice of nice pizza and tiramisu with cappuccino 💕 Love the atmosphere and nice friendly staff I would definitely say it’s the most authentic bakery that we have saw while travelling across Milan. Staff is serving you with respect and friendliness, they all speak nice english so it’s not hard to communicate at all. You can tell for sure, that staff and visitors know each other well, since visitors coming everyday to eat tasty pastry and drink coffee ☺️ And it’s not surprise for me, if I would live here, i’d be coming for pastry everyday too. I will also add, that in the third day of visiting Gobbato for everyday, all staff start to recognise us and say hi even more happier 😄 Overall, love italian atmosphere of family and friendliness and prices are great. Il nostro avvicinamento a Gobbato è stato una specie di Squid Game, poiché siamo dovuti passare attraverso vari ostacoli. Arrivati lì davanti per la prima volta -a fine ottobre- siamo stati scoraggiati da una sorta dì invasione di mosche e dal plateatico dei clienti, tutti fumatori nel dehor presente li davanti, e abbiamo girato i tacchi. Poi siamo stati invogliati nuovamente dalle superbe recensioni del periodo natalizio per i loro panettoni, quindi siamo tornati e sembrava francamente un altro posto! Pulito, ordinato, piacevolmente decorato per l'occasione di festa. La prima cosa che ti colpisce quando arrivi è la STRAORDINARIA gentilezza del personale: sempre attento, sempre sorridente, con una parola di saluto per tutti. Poi guardi la vetrina e ci sono i dolci, ben presentati e devo dire anche buoni! Ci siamo quindi impossessati di un eccellente panettone, che ha vinto a mani basse la nostra classifica di quest'anno!(Non citiamo gli altri partecipanti perché non sarebbe giusto...) Infine, menzione d'onore ai Negroni che abbiamo bevuto. Unbeleavable place worth visiting even if you are not close as we were. Quality of food and coffee is outstanding. Price quality ratio is 10/10 All staff was unbelievable polite and helpful. This place was cherry on top. Next time when we visit Milano again we will choose to stay close to this...
