Sfrigola — Restaurant in Milan

A bit hard to find place that's apparently very popular as also a delivery based restaurant. However we ate in the restaurant, right in front of the kitchen - and it was really amazing food!

Unlike some bad tourists-traps, there is no fancy atmosphere to trick you into feeling the food is good. It's just pure good food.

It was so inspiring that our next trip to Italy will definitely be to the south of Italy where many of their dishes were from.

Since our Italian wasn't so good, we ordered via photos pointing from their facebook page. I recommend asking the staff their what they recommend since I'm sure based on what's available as ingredients their recommendations may change.

We could literally write a review for every single dish we had, but I'm sure people would not want to spend time reading a written documentary on google.... Just go and I'm sure you'll like the casual street vibe of the restaurant with top notch food and service.

Nice restaurant on the edge of Milan. It has opened just a month ago. It's very narrow but cosy. The menu is completely fish and vegetables based.We tried the fried entreé (frittura mista) with calamari, shrimps and little octopus: very nice and not greased. This is a true hidden gem. I am quite demanding on the quality of restaurants so I used to have only two restaurants in my favourite list, now I have three.
