La Masseria — Restaurant in Modena

Pugliese.... NOTHING!!!!!!!! I would say..... I have been to this restaurant with high expectations but the disappointment was so great , that unfortunately I cannot recommend it to anyone. First of all, I write in English, despite the fact, I am Italian, since the menu , shows the names of the dishes, in Italian but the contents are in English, so I stick to this Modus Operandi. I absolutely did not like, the attitude of the waiters and all the staff, because it seemed to me, that the main objective was to get us to eat quickly and then close the restaurant; as for the quality of the dishes, I was very disappointed, both in terms of quality and above all, in terms of prices... I am from Puglia, so who better than me , could qualify the "quality", which, I did not taste in any dish... I am truly sorry, to have to not advise this restaurant, which apart from the suggestive place , has nothing else. The prices are INSANE for a quality that is poor to say the least, as is the service. As a customer, I advise you to improve the service, the quality of the products and above all the prices, just as we do in Puglia and perhaps, one day, I might even come back to visit you. Cucina ottima. Prezzi abbastanza alti, ma per la qualità del prodotto va più che bene. Metto 3 stelle per via dell' arroganza del capo sala. Avendo problematiche alimentari ho dovuto chiedere consigli su quello che potevo o non potevo mangiare e sugli ingredienti effettivamente utilizzati, e le risposte sono state scontrose e spesso altezzose. In un posto così rinomato, mi aspetto cordialità e disponibilità (soprattutto in giorni in cui non vi é assolutamente folla -sono andata a cena di martedì sera e i tavoli occupati erano più o meno 6).

Rispondo a quanto mi é stato scritto: sono certa di non esistere solo io con intolleranze e che altri hanno problematiche più importanti delle mie,ma se io chiedo gli ingredienti della bruschetta (perché oltre che intollerante al lattosio sono anche in stato di gravidanza (anche se non ho ancora un evidente pancione non vuol dire che non lo sia) e quindi con ulteriori limitazioni alimentari), mi viene risposto che la bruschetta ha solo patè di olive, poi ritrovo alla fine presenti anche pomodorini -a questo punto spero vivamente cotti- mi scusi ma credo sia mio diritto chiedere ulteriori spiegazioni.con questo ribadisco che, come già espresso nella recensione soprastante, la qualità del cibo era ottima. Mi sarei aspettata solo un po' più di gentilezza in risposta alla...

Randomly stopped at this restaurant today for lunch and Wow am I glad we did! We had the bruschetta and the stracciatella to start which were delicious! We were with 7 people and all of the pasta dishes we ordered were incredible (fresh and flavorful)! The service was also super friendly and very welcoming (even with our poor attempt to speak Italian). If we were staying in the area I would definitely come back! Highly recommend...
