WOOW!! Ein absolutes HIGHLIGHT in unseren Ferien. Das Restaurant liegt etwas versteckt in einem wunderschönen Burg Dörfchen. Von aussen ahnt man noch nicht, was einen drinnen erwartet. An der Türe angekommen, muss man mit einem Eisen Hebel klopfen, damit jemand kommt und die Türe öffnet. Wie traten dann in eine andere Welt ein. Das Ambiente ist atemberaubend und man fühlt sich wie in einem Märchen. Es brennt kein Licht, beleuchtet wird nur mit Kerzen was das ganze magisch macht. Es gibt keine Menukarte, die Bedienung hat uns alle Speisen erklärt welche wir aussuchen können. Hier wird ganz traditionel und speziel gekocht, versuchen Sie etwas, dass Sie sonst nirgentwo kriegen! (Bei uns z.B. Käse welcher 5 Tage in Chrdonnay eingelegt wurde, Spaghetti mit Zuchetti und getrockneten Fischeier aus Sizilien,...) wir haben pro Person ca 55 Euro ausgegeben. (Vorspeise, 1. Gang, 2. Gang, 1 Flasche Rotwein, zwei Flaschen Wasser) es war alles TOP! & die kleine Überraschung für unsere Hochzeit werden wir zu Hause aufhängen, herzlichen Dank für die tollen Glückwünsche. Ein MUSS, hierhin zu gehen :) Die Dame spricht sehr gut englisch, Reservation wird sehr empfohlen. Wir werden bald wieder vorbei kommen. Liebe Grüsse aus der Schweiz

Questo posto è fantastico!!! Siamo stati qua un venerdì sera a fine Giugno, in un calda serata estiva, prenotando una settimana prima. Ci è stato chiesto se gradivamo la saletta privata e abbiamo confermato questa scelta. Il paesino è già incantevole... misterioso, quasi disabitato, pieno di messaggi di ogni tipo scritti a mano su pietre, tavole di legno e altro in ogni angolo. Arrivati siamo stati accolti dalla signora in elegante abbigliamento tipico medioevale e ci ha fatto accomodare nella saletta privata, incantevole. Tutto è curato nei minimi dettagli... ma la vera sorpresa sono stati i piatti... curati e buonissimi. Ogni piatto seguiva la stagionalità e le materie prime arrivavano dalle zone limitrofi. Buono davvero tutto dall'antipasto al dolce. La signora ci ha suggerito ottimi vini da abbinare alle pietanze. Per ultimo è stata una sorpresa scoprire il conto... ci saremmo aspettati di spendere davvero di più, considerando cibo, location e servizio esclusivo. Abbiamo poi conosciuto il cuoco, scoprendo che era il marito della singora che ci ha servito la cena, li abbiamo riempiti di complimenti. Questo posto è unico davvero e lo suggeriamo davvero a tutti per vivere un esperienza unica!

Che esperienza fantastica. Nel cuore di un piccolo borgo medievale tenuto alla perfezione, sta questo ristorante dove ci ha spedito un mio amico e compagno di collegio. Da fuori nemmeno capiresti che è un ristorante. La porticina aperta dalla Signora in abito lungo, nero, elegante. Tutto a lume di candela, ci accompagna al nostro tavolo, in una stanza tutta per noi. Arredamento eclettico, misto fra libri, antiquariato e figure di cartapesta prodotte dalla nonna, che è poi stata l'ideatrice del look del ristorante. Il cibo era squisito: nessuna pretesa di haute cuisine, che in 99 casi su 100 lascia il tempo che trova. Qui il Signore fa la spesa tutti i giorni e prepara quello che trova, seguendo la traduzione locale e rendendola elegante. E alla fine, un bel attestato di presenza manuscritto dal nonno. Complimenti.

Me and my friends came here two nights ago, upon recommendation of our AirBnB host Kurt - and we were blown away! Umberto and his wife were the most welcoming and charming hosts. They managed to make our night there really special.

We received a delicious, (to our dietary preferences) customized tasting menu by the light of only one table candelabra. The atmosphere was enchanting, and we were completely absorbed in the mouth-watering delicacies served, as well as Umberto’s family history and stories about the place itself.

The interior, complete with medieval furniture, dishes and decorations, was just as fascinating as the treats offered - all ingredients locally produced or even home grown.

The price for this unique dining experience (and that’s what it was - a real experience! ;)) was more than fair, even on the lower side & absolutely worth it!
