In Piazza — Restaurant in Monforte d'Alba

A true gem in this charming town. The restaurant has two beautiful gardens — the front one offers a perfect view of the small square, surrounded by lovely Italian houses and narrow streets, while the back garden is cozier, with a wonderful view of the Madonna della Neve church.

The menu has an amazing selection of pizzas and wines. We visited as a group and tried eight different pizzas — every single one was excellent, with not a single disappointment. The food was really good, the last two days I've been to really expensive restaurants and it's refreshing to eat something normal again. I had Tagliatelle with meat sauce and hazelnut parfait with chocolate. I didn't have lunch plus the meals are usually a bit small here compared to where I come from (Germany) so I ordered another tagliatelle. The waitress was also really nice which is common around here apparently. I don't remember how much I paid but it was worth...

If you want to have a good night with good food, wine and people, you should definitely go here! Since the first night I feel so welcome, so I keep coming back, bringing all my friends and family. And everybody loves it!

Everything is so tasteful, but you should really try the pizza Salamino Picante, pizza burrata e acciughe di sciacca or the burger!
