Absolutely delicious. The biggest and most important highlight here: tiramisu. Don’t let the size make you think you should share - it’s best served personal! The tiramisu has little chocolate chips in its layers that don’t overpower. It is in the top 5 best tiramisus of my life. The apple crumble is also lovely, and is prepared fresh and warm! The gnocchi is delicious and a generous portion. It’s baked with mozzarella which keeps each bite fresh fluffy and hot as you work your way through the dish. The chicken is wonderful as well, just note that it’s cooked to your liking (they are happy to cook it a bit longer for you). The carpaccio was super fresh and a great portion for sharing. A 1L of delicious red wine is available starting at 10€!

Amazing meal and service at this hidden gem of a restaurant. We were staying at a nearby Agriturismo and had enough of the menu there. I stumbled across this place out of luck and a map and I'm glad we did. First, I was able to reserve a seat via WhatsApp- which is a huge convenience when you don't speak Italian very well. Arrived to find a quaint eatery in a tiny Tuscan town. We had steak, gnocchi, truffle taglioni, and my sons penne ragu was the best of our trip. Un pranzo da sogno con sapori autentici e vista mozzafiato all'Antico Borgo di Iano Il nostro pranzo all'Antico Borgo a Iano è stata un'esperienza culinaria e sensoriale indimenticabile. Eravamo in quattro e fin dal nostro arrivo siamo stati conquistati dalla bellezza del luogo e dall'atmosfera accogliente del ristorante. Pranzare sulla terrazza con un panorama così meraviglioso è stato un vero privilegio. La vista che si apre sulle colline toscane è semplicemente incantevole e ha fatto da cornice perfetta a un pranzo eccezionale. Gli antipasti che abbiamo gustato erano un preludio delizioso alla festa di sapori che sarebbe seguita. Ma i veri protagonisti sono stati senza dubbio i secondi piatti: il piccione alla griglia era cotto alla perfezione, con una carne tenera e saporita; il coniglio alla griglia era altrettanto squisito, con un gusto autentico e una consistenza ideale; e il cinghiale in salmì era un trionfo di sapori intensi e avvolgenti, preparato secondo la migliore tradizione. Ogni piatto era un'esaltazione della qualità degli ingredienti e della maestria in cucina. L'esperienza è stata resa ancora più piacevole dall'ambiente curato e dal servizio attento e cordiale. L'Antico Borgo non è solo un ristorante, ma un luogo dove la passione per la buona cucina si sposa con la bellezza del paesaggio, creando un'armonia perfetta.
