We wanted a simple lunch as we were visiting the Valle Argentina and decided to stop there as it was the one and only place around. After 4 years living in Italy, I thought it would be a good economical lunch like many places around. First of all, the place has zero charm! Look at the pictures that people posted as a matter of fact. We ordered a small and a medium beer. We sat and got offered a choice of homemade ravioli or tagliatelle with either Bolognese sauce, pesto or walnut sauce. It was good...just good. Then we were asked if we wanted a main course: scaloppine or pork roast with mashed potatoes. Again, it was good but nothing to dream about. We didn't have any dessert or coffee. Time to pay: my mother and I looked at each other with stupefaction when she announced 37 euros. Really? 37 euros in a restaurant that has zero charm and where you don't even get a menu to see the prices??? I thought we would pay 10-12 euros/person maybe. But 37 euros??? I know places where you get a menu with primo/secondo/dessert/drink/coffee for 10 euros closer to the beach and where the food is really yummy. Maybe they thought we were some stupid tourists! I sincerely hope that this place will run out of business for being so greedy! Besides, there were only 4 people drinking, the place was completely dead. And for a reason...! Shame on them!

Ho dato 5 stelle perché questo è un posto raro in un mondo dove ci si è stancati del tradizionale e si è costantemente alla ricerca di sapori nuovi a costi proibitivi. Dopo aver degustato piatti tipici della cucina casalinga ligure percepisci la passione di questa famiglia che da anni, con la carpasina mantiene vivo il cuore di Carpasio. I piatti cambiano continuamente ma tutti sono caratterizzati dal sapore della cucina di una volta. la semplicità e la bontà dei prodotti locali rendono a mio parere questa un’esperienza che ogni volta è sempre più apprezzata. Congratulazioni.

Es imposible calificar objetivamente un restaurante en estos lugares tradicionales. La atención de Patricia, desde hace 25 años atiende la cocina, nos preparó ravioles de queso ricotta y espinacas, guisado de pollo y conejo asado. Cambia su menú acorde a la estación del año. Para no extrañar México, nos enchilamos con un tipo de chile conservado en aceite que le dio ese toque picoso.

Dopo aver degustato piatti tipici della cucina casalinga ligure percepisci la passione di questa famiglia che da anni, con la carpasina mantiene vivo il cuore di Carpasio. I piatti cambiano continuamente ma tutti sono caratterizzati dal sapore della cucina di una volta. la semplicità e la bontà dei prodotti locali rendono a mio parere questa un’esperienza che ogni volta è sempre più apprezzata. Congratulazioni.

Es imposible calificar objetivamente un restaurante en estos lugares tradicionales. La atención de Patricia, desde hace 25 años atiende la cocina, nos preparó ravioles de queso ricotta y espinacas, guisado de pollo y conejo asado. Cambia su menú acorde a la estación del año. Para no extrañar México, nos enchilamos con un tipo de chile conservado en aceite que le dio ese toque picoso.
