We had a late dinner at Al Callianino, which we found because it was the closest restaurant to our hotel and had received great reviews on Google. And we weren’t disappointed. The restaurant was clean, stylishly decorated, and the service was friendly and fast. But above all—the food was absolutely great! One of the best dinners we've had in Italy. For starters, I had the gazpacho, which was smooth and rich. My main course was pigeon prepared two ways, and it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. My companion had zucchini prepared in various styles as a starter, and ricotta gnocchi for the main—both were equally delightful. The outstanding meal was perfectly complemented by a superb Garganega white wine from the Soave region. The restaurant offers excellent value for money. We wholeheartedly recommend it.

Let me start off by saying that the chef and staff are absolutely amazing! Both the staff and the restaurant environment is welcoming, hospitable, and warm. The food is absolutely amazing. The star dish is the Battuta di Neanderthal, and I think every person must try it. But you cannot go wrong with anything. Every dish is packed with flavor, passion, and color. I should also add, the desserts are to die for. Overall, wonderful experience. Pictures of our courses are included. Will definitely be back if we visit the region again.

Ho molto apprezzato ovviamente, essendo entrambi i dolci fenomenali. Bella anche la carta dei vini. Rapporto qualità prezzo super, porzioni giuste. Non vedo l’ora di tornare!

Avoid at all cost, unless you’d like to sit out on a parking lot, lit by bright construction lamps, whilst being eaten alive by mosquitos. The food is very overpriced for what you get. We ordered cuttlefish which tasted like ink only, the bbq ribs cost €16,- and you get a tiny portion of two small ribs (2 pieces is 2 bones) It tasted like badly spice spareribs, but without the full bbq taste. Nothing original here, the Valpolicella we drunk by the glass was ok, but way too little, it took them 10-15 minutes to seat us, although we had a reservation and there were hardly any other guests. We were never asked how the food was, so we just asked for the bill, still no one asked us, if we enjoyed the food or service and by the time the bill came, they overcharged us, by putting in 2 Cuttlefish, instead of 1. This restaurant pretends to be a Michelin restaurant, but they're no better, then an average pizza place, the atmosphere and service...
