Perhaps my experience was colored by a lack of expectation, but one rainy afternoon we walked in wet cold and hungry. From the front door it looked like a snack bar (“ok I guess we’ll have arancini and beer for lunch”) until the owner ushered us into the back by the fire. We had a remarkable meal. The fried rabbit, the mushroom girasole, the pasta vongole, the boar ragù, and everything else we tried was delicious. very nice and cosy restaurant. if you take place in the front room, you can watch the magnificant grill in action. the owners/service is kind and it almost feels like youre inveted for a barbecue by friends.
