In a very simple rural, almost rough, dining room with uneven tables, we dined with six friends and we tried different food options. We did enjoy almost each of them, a lot: “passatelli” are a local “pasta”, made with ground cheese and ground bread, which is quite common in the nearby restaurants; but here they were served with an unusual and very good sauce of bacon. peaches and seafood; “cappellacci” (a kind of ravioli with cheese and herbs) were superb; tagliata was a tender and succulent slice of meat, the lamb and pork with peaches were perfect; only the standard ravioli were, indeed, standard; that is, not remarkable. The desserts were very peculiar (for instance, a chocolate mini-basket with a cream of apricots and Chantilly cream); but, in our view, for them the chef focused more on appearance than on content... a bit nouvelle-cuisine-style. The waiter was kind and cheerful, ready to offer suggestions that proved to be worthwhile. The bill was reasonable as well. Last but not least, the restaurant is located in the countryside, so you can smell the grass and listen to the crickets. Gli antipasti sono i classici di una trattoria, i primi e secondi li ho trovati consoni al locale. Una persona che era seduta al mio tavolo ha ordinato le lumache e un piatto misto di verdure (molto sostanzioso) e ha trovato il tutto molto gradevole. A inizio pasto ci hanno portato un entree, zuppa di legumi e fave molto deliziosa. Il costo del coperto, nonostante questo accorgimento, è stato di 1 euro.
