I arrived on the Via Francigena at the Centro Cresti. I went to this restaurant at 7:30pm and asked for the pilgrim menu and was told they would not feed me. You would not treat a dog this way. I felt personally insulted and very disappointed as there were no other opportunities for a good hot dinner which I need walking so many kilometres a day. In the scheme of things this was a small crisis but it has filled me with very negative feelings which will take me some time...

An absolutely charming, little, cute place, lovingly cared for by its two owners who live just down the street. You can feel their attention and passion in every single detail. A lovely selection of pizzas, ice cream, local salami, and cheeses — and the espresso macchiato is fantastic! The owner is such a wonderful person and a truly great host.
