Ristorante C'era Una Volta — Restaurant in Montespertoli

We where hungry and tire and just pass by this place and look so nice that we ( my wife, 3 adult son, 2 adults daughters and Dan ( one of my daughters boyfriend) ) decided to stop by. This was Dic 30 - 2019 winter, our first impression was good and at the beginning the guy was nice, when we asked for the menu he brings a menu only in Italian, which is not a problem if you take the time to answer our questions. He didn’t take the time to explain the dishes or their contents, so everyone choose wrong, we assume our responsibility but this is the first guy in all ours trips to Italy that was rude and take advantage of us. The food wasn’t good is was ok only, no cheese for the pasta ( apparently they ran out ), the scarmossa cheese no flavor at all, the oven roasted vegetable were cold. But the wine was good. If you are fluently in Italian try this place...

A family business where you can find real and traditional Tuscan food like locals are used to make. Genuine food is excellently done with local ingredients. The staff is lovely, quick, and professional. It was so exceptionally good that myself and my wife turn for lunch and dinner for all entire stay. Beautiful beautiful beautiful location. You're practically sitting IN the scenery. (look at attached video and pictures). We sat inside b the large open window. It was midday, AP the terrace was too hot. Quick and very friendly service dispite some people in the restaurant. Do try the tiramisu!.. it's spot-on 👌😊.. Kida loved the lasagna and we had different pastas and antipasti....
