Our arrival at this residence was not the best start. Our flight got in after 10pm and we got a taxi to the hotel at the last train had gone (€120). We arrived to find that the check in time was on the door as being in the afternoon and no one was on the site. We tried all the phone numbers we could find and ringing the door bell. After about 15 minutes someone showed up and told us we weren't allowed to check in until the next afternoon (this is around midnight). After much discussion over Google translate we finally got a key to our room. ||The pool on site is excellent, good size and naturally warm. No cafe on site during the day is a bit of a drawback although there are two vending machines under the check in lodge.||The nearest supermarket is only 5 minutes walk and has most of what you will need.||The nearest train station is just over 30 minutes walk (Massa)||The bus service is almost none existent even though there is a hospital nearby.||The rooms are a good size, biggest apartments of this size we have stayed in. The slightly wied thing is that the door to the toilet is in the bedroom - fine if you are there as a couple, slightly strange if you have children on the bed settee in the lounge.||The air conditioning hardly works, even set at 16 the room temperature stayed over 30 at night, warmer than the outside!!! The alternative was toopen the windows and feed the local mosquitoes.||In a week the towels were not changed once, maybe good for the environment but they were not great by the end of the week. The bins (on the balcony) were rarely emptied. The site staff cut the grass every morning so didn't have time to empty bins.||If staying here I would recommend you hire a car. Ci ho mangiato due volte, ed entrambe molto bene. Antipasti e primi non sono abbondantissimi, ma davvero davvero buoni. I dolci sono favolosi e abbondanti, compensano gli altri piatti e si esce pieni e soddisfatti. Prezzi un pelino sopra la media, ma per la qualità merita davvero. Lo consiglio.

Un'altra esperienza, dopo la prima recensione, mi ha lasciata soddisfatta. Ho preso un antipasto gamberetti e moscardini con verdure al vapore veramente buono: a differenza del solito con le verdure crude, questo l'ho apprezzato molto di più, c'erano zucchine, pomodori, carote cotte più insalatina cruda che ci stava benissimo. Direi un bel piatto. Ottimo. Ho provato la pizza, bufala melanzane e grana, sottile, leggera ma carica di ingredienti, riempie senza appesantire. Il dolce crema chantilly con lingue di gatto buonissimo, un po' pesantuccio ma da provare. Ottimo servizio. Luci un po' basse ma atmosfera romantica, arredo molto elegante. Forse un po' strettini i tavoli. Complimenti. Un locale che consiglio per romantiche cene a due. Una pizza da €8 a €10, un antipasto €10, gli altri piatti non li ricordo. Ma si...
