The most unassuming little restaurant that most wouldn’t even notice. Catering for the locals, they don’t have a menu except for their daily specials board. Everything depends on what is fresh and homemade that day. Incredibly friendly service and outstanding food at a very affordable price.

We had the swordfish with tomato sauce and olives, I personally really don’t like swordfish but I realized it’s just because I’ve never had it fresh! This was incredible!

We also ordered the homemade gnocchi with a creamy tomato sauce, prawns and zucchini. Was delicious.

We didn’t take a photo because we ate it too quickly but we also had the chicken scallopini (grilled thin chicken breasts) with mushrooms which was wonderful.

I will definitely be returning! Wonderful service and amazing...

Enrico unisce semplicità e raffinatezza, proponendo ricette antiche sorprendenti unite al racconto, alle notizie con cui, in modo misurato e preciso, accompagna il piatto. Che siano antipasti di confetture di alici o crostini alle vongoline ed erbe; primi storici come tortelli al ragù e le paste al pesce; secondi dal fritto misto leggerissimo alle carni sapientemente conciate; o il superlativo raro caciucco, che spodesta il cugino livornese; i vini sempre eleganti, dai semplici ai rari, e i particolari sapienti liquorini,alla Trattoria Esperia vengono aperte sempre pagine di "letteratura popolare di grande cucina". Un capolavoro nascosto tra pochi semplici...

Very good food. Ordered fritto misto and spaghetti with various fish. It was delicious and yes the staff is very friendly. As for the price ,two thumbs up. Definitely will...
