I due compari — Restaurant in Motta Camastra

Not worth the hassle! Don't visit on a summer weekend night, if you're hungry or not prepared to wait for hours. This place seems to be most popular with local families, and larger groups, but it's a nightmare for the hard working 3 understaffed team of waiters, who together have to cope with ca. 200 covers, seated outside the restaurants front patio.

Got seated at 21:15hrs, were given the menus 25 minutes later, it even took 20 minutes to be brought an ashtray which I asked for when we were assigned the table (once it arrived we had to ask for the menus, which took an additional 5 minutes to arrive).

By 22:10 none of the three waiters had showed up or found the time to take our order. It's 22:50, people are still walking in, and we have only been served our softdrinks by now.

Let's hope the food will be worth all...

Lovely staff, very friendly to a family with toddler and 5 year old. Delicious pizza. On the main road but parking is straight across and the restaurant was nice and cool inside. Affordable and yummy.

Update: went in same day for dinner, very slow service, different staff. Took one hour to get our food and we took it with us as kids wouldn't stay still any longer. Amended rating...

Yeah it's good food!! Decent price, free easy parking. They leaven the pizza dough for three days! Mmmm! Looks like they do a fair amount of take away business. So if there aren't many folks sitting at tables, the guys in back are likely still busy preparing take away. Don't let...
