Food is ok for Piedmontese standards, have been there few times through the years, my last visit yesterday was disappointing.
We felt we were treated differently as we aren’t Italians. We ordered the full menu and they cheekily didn’t serve us one of the mains, roast beef! Locals got more food and better service, they seemed to dislike tourists.
Service was rude and rushed, will not go there again. This region is full of wonderful restaurants and da lele is not one of them any more, as they got popular they probably got more arrogant with tourists, typical….

The menu changes daily and the selection isn't vast but ragu or rabbit is all you need for a wonderful lunch or dinner in this little town off the tourist map. Meals start with an appetizer which is on the house and helps put everyone in a good mood. Heaping plates of pasta or gnocchi (depending on the day) are cheerfully served and diners fill their plates themselves (often 2 or 3 times). The food is always incredible, the fixed menu isnt really an issue as theres always something everyone will like.
