In all my travels, I have found Ristorante di Murlo to be among the best places I have dined. Every detail of the restaraunt is impeccable---from beautiful decor to compliment exquisite views of the Tuscan countryside to artfully crafted dishes. The service is wonderful, with wait staff efficiently serving tables whilst engaging in grand conversation. The owners are absolutely lovely and provide much useful information on the surrounding area and things to do. Of all the aspects, my favorite is the farm-fresh olive oil from a nearby grove, which perfectly pairs with bruschetta. The tried the Wild Boar Stew along with Tagliatelle alla ragu and Turkey with sage sauce. All extremely delicious (so much so, I forgot to take photos). The only reason for 4 stars (for now) is the fact they charged us twice for all the drinks, but only pointed out the overcharge of the wine (which was the obvious one). Read moreLovely local food with seasonal & local ingredients 😍 Thanks to Sara, we had great experience from starter to end and had the chance to explore not only the different local gems but learned about the region. The wine was fantastic (pity that the winery was closed next day when we went). The jam& honey combination with cheese platter is a must try. There is another beautiful host called Grappa, who you can meet only once you are there 😉
