Hotel Agriturismo IL Pavone — Restaurant in Nardò

I was on a business trip to area and would not be arriving until after midnight. Rang hotel but she only spoke Italian and I only speak English. Stopped on way for a meal where waitress spoke italian/english so we got her to ring and explain situation which was no problem. Owner was waiting for us at 01:00. Breakfast was arranged for 07:00 and it was the owner again! She got as little sleep as us.Really friendly and even gave us a "google" translate without asking explaining what she had cooked for our breakfast. Not 5 star but still highly...

Ho appena trascorso una vacanza di 7 giorni presso l'agriturismo Il Pavone, con mio marito e mio figlio. Esprimo con tutto il cuore un giudizio complessivamente positivo: ottima accoglienza, ambiente familiare, massima disponibilità, camera e bagno spaziosi e cucina da master chef. Nonostante la vicinanza, la strada provinciale non ha creato troppo disturbo acustico. Bisogna prestare attenzione nell'attraversare, ma la visuale è ampia. Abbiamo viaggiato in treno e perciò, non avendo l'auto, ogni giorno siamo scesi in spiaggia a piedi: fattibile. Il grande spiaggione di sabbia bianca si affaccia su un mare cristallino, che non ha nulla da invidiare a quelli sardi. Una lode speciale alla signora Antonietta, oltre che per la disponibilità, anche per le ottime torte preparate e offerte a colazione e al figlio Giuseppe per le cene da 10 e lode.
