Beautiful situated at the top of town, movie like views on the drive up to the restaurant.
Spoke with the owner who is was happy to speak with me in English, as i speak very little or no Italian. He showed me around the beautiful grounds & private function area.
Perfect location for an intimate meal with its 30 ish seats or for private functions ul to 100.
The service was impeccable & the food was delicious & cooked from the heart.
For starter I had a hand made ravioli of salted cod, with a loverly smooth buttery sauce & charred crispy onions, to follow i had a slow cooked Saddle of herb & garlic filled Rabbit, with Aubergine caviar & Oyster Mushroom.
For sweet semi fredo of Irish coffee.
A definite destination to travel to, recommendation to all to visit.

Chef Matteo, the owner and mastermind behind the exquisite dishes, graciously welcomed us for lunch even as he was preparing for a bustling dinner service and a busy weekend. His exceptional skill in the kitchen is evident, rivaling that of any top-tier restaurant we've had the pleasure of dining at around the world.
The warm hospitality extended beyond the kitchen. Matteo's mother, who runs the front of house, delighted our kids by dancing with them, infusing the entire experience with love and joy. Each dish was crafted with care and passion, reflecting the same heartfelt dedication.

Near the top of a mountain above Lake Maggiore, the young chef of the recently opened La Fenice has scaled the heights of fine food.
