Birrificio Citabiunda — Restaurant in Neive

This is a lively, happening place in an otherwise sleepy region. We went on Friday and it was very busy even at 9pm.

The pizza we ordered was pretty good, but a little raw in the center. Otherwise tasty, but nothing we couldn't have gotten in California where we live.

They seemed a little understaffed so it took awhile to get our order in.

I appreciate that someone in Europe is attempting to do the craft beer thing. Unfortunately it's primarily Belgian style stuff, which I can't stand, but I know I'm in the minority there. On the other hand I got a huge G&T for like 7 Euro.

Birrificio Citabiunda: Una Lezione di Delusione

Se state cercando un’esperienza che combina arroganza, inefficienza e pura assurdità, Birrificio Citabiunda è il posto perfetto per voi. Quello che dovrebbe essere un locale informale, una pizzeria/pub gastronomico, si è rivelato una delle esperienze più frustranti che abbia mai vissuto.

Siamo arrivati in pieno orario di cena e siamo stati accolti con sufficienza per non avere una prenotazione. Già strano per un posto che sembra voler essere rilassato, ma abbiamo lasciato correre quando ci hanno comunque fatto sedere. Quello che è successo dopo è stato semplicemente surreale.

Dopo essere rimasti seduti al tavolo per 20 minuti senza che nessuno ci portasse un menù o ci degnasse di uno sguardo, finalmente un cameriere si è avvicinato. Non per prendere l’ordine, ma per informarci che avevano finito l’impasto per la pizza. Sottolineo: una pizzeria senza impasto per le pizze. Durante l’orario di punta. E come se non bastasse, ci è stato detto con sufficienza che bisogna prenotare per mangiare la pizza. Sì, avete capito bene: qui si deve prenotare… l’impasto della pizza.

Un livello di incompetenza e presunzione del genere sarebbe quasi comico, se non fosse così offensivo. Se finite l’ingrediente base di quello che è il vostro piatto principale, abbiate almeno la decenza di avvisare i clienti prima di farli sedere e far perdere loro tempo.

Birrificio Citabiunda è una barzelletta di locale, senza rispetto per chi decide di andarci. Se cercate buon cibo, un servizio decente o anche solo un minimo di rispetto, fatevi un favore e...
