Ristorante Il Palmento di Feudi — Restaurant in Niscemi

We had a very disappointing experience on September 23rd. My girlfriend had gifted me a dinner and overnight stay as the finale of our Sicily holiday, and we’d looked forward to this evening as our most special one. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst of our trip — and the most expensive.

The issues started with confusion and poor communication about a wine tour that suddenly wasn’t available, even though it was one of the main reasons we came. The real problem, however, was the extremely poor service: both waiters seemed inexperienced, spoke almost no English, and didn’t explain the dishes. Drinks were mixed up or forgotten, courses arrived before tables were cleared, and chaos reigned across the restaurant. Everyone around us looked just as surprised.

The food itself was excellent, compliments to the chef, and the reception kindly offered us a bottle of wine the next day. But for a €220 dinner for two, the overall experience was incredibly disappointing. Easily one of the worst service experiences...
