We were guests for dinner at one of the best restaurants in Noventa di Piave. We had dinner and when we were about to leave we found the rear windshield of our car broken and everything had been stolen from our trunk.
The most bizarre part is that all of this happened right in front of the restaurant’s entrance.We found that very odd. We reparked the car almost right by the restaurant’s terrace (this is, in fact, the restaurant’s parking) and locked it with the key in the lock.
What’s disappointing is that the restaurant staff refused to call the police or to help, even though they themselves saw the damaged car in THEIR parking area. We asked for the manager; he said he was busy and didn’t even want to speak to us. We were guests at this restaurant — we ate and drank there — and were treated in a way that hurt and humiliated us. We came as tourists and will never return. We can only say bad things about it. The food is nowhere near Michelin-star quality. We are disappointed and will certainly never come back. Read moreNon ci andate. Evitate di rovinarvi la giornata. Siamo andati oggi a pranzo. Tanto per cominciare, non ti presentano il menù, ma te lo dicono a voce, così non vedi i prezzi che esorbitanti rispetto alla qualità. Difficile fare una scelta memorizzando quello che ti dice la cameriera. Inoltre servono solo pesce e già questo lo limita molto. Io ho preso un baccalà alla vicentina, deludente: era duro e sembrava scongelato al microonde. Il baccalà mantecato era una pasta bianca indistinta, insipida e un po’ troppo pastosa. Le patate fritte le fanno meglio al Mac Donald. Il dolce al pistacchio, di intenso aveva solo il colore, penso artificiale, perché l’unico sapore che si sentiva era lo zucchero. Il bagno era sporco e puzzava un pochino. La cosa peggiore è però il prezzo. Per 4 primi, 4 secondi, 2 contorni, 3 dessert, 2 birre piccole, tre bottiglie di acqua da 3/4 di litro e 3 caffè abbiamo pagato più di 180 €, ossia 45 a testa. Non abbiamo preso il vino per fortuna. Davvero troppi per una trattoria di media fattura. Aggiungo infine che adesso ho un po’ di nausea e qualche conato di vomito e sento il pesce che risale dallo stomaco, manco fosse un salmone.
