Nice location, the garden outside is peaceful and well cured, and the insides are a mix of antiques/minimalistic/renaissance that goes very well with the atmosphere. Even if it is full, you will never have the impression that the restaurant is too crowded or noisy, as the tables are well spaced across several rooms. Food is excellent and the choice between fixed menus and "a la carte" gives the flexibility to go for a full gastronomic experience, or just pick a few dishes. Despite the choice you will make, you will definitely step into the regional Piemontese kitchen, with some interesting twists. The service complements the place and the food in full, to have a star-michelin-like experience but without the pretentious atmosphere and offer that starred restaurants sometimes have. I Due Buoi is set in a beautiful villa surrounded by a park. Walking in, you immediately feel at home, even if it’s not a home but a stunning historic villa. Here, the tasting menu is a must to truly experience the chef’s vision and skill. We chose the 7-course ‘Stile Libero’ menu. From amuse-bouche to dessert, every dish followed a clear line of quality and creativity. The standout was the scallop “club sandwich” with grilled bone marrow and caviar: unforgettable. The wine list is extensive, as expected from a restaurant of this standard. Prices are fair for the setting and consistent with a fine dining experience. Highly recommended if you’re looking for haute cuisine at its best.

I Due Buoi è un ristorante situato in una splendida villa immersa nel parco. Entrando ci si sente accolti come a casa, anche se si tratta in realtà di una meravigliosa villa d’epoca. In questo caso il menu degustazione è d’obbligo per apprezzare a pieno la visione e la bravura dello chef: noi abbiamo scelto il percorso da 7 portate Stile Libero.
