Enjoyed a memorable 3 night stay in this excellent mountain pension. Ollomont itself is to be found in a beautiful valley extending north from the Val d’Aosta. The Locanda is run by a husband and wife team who work very hard to ensure that their guests are both comfortable and very well fed. On arrival, we were greeted by Charlie, the owners beautiful and very friendly Apenzeller dog. Our room was spacious with a view from the front of the hotel across the valley, a very comfortable bed and a spotless shower room.||||We took both breakfast and dinner in the Locanda – breakfast was a buffet of cereals, yoghurts, pastries and bread and jams with excellent coffee. Dinner was prepared and served by Gloria whose knowledge and transformation of local ingredients is second to none!
