What a cozy little restaurant. This visit was a suggestion, so we gave it a try. It is important to know, that a table should be reserved ahead of time, since it's always full, or you may not be able to get a table. Wednesdays they are closed and on all other days they open up at 7 p. m. Understandably because the food is so delicious. We ordered a grilled cheese to share for an appetizer, a pizza with pepperoni and a pizza with veal and greens (forgot the names, pictures are added), water, regional beer (Ichenusa) and Espresso. The service was excellent, our waitresses were attentive and friendly always with a smile. We would eat there again for sure. Give it a try, maybe you like it as much as we did. Enjoy.

The wait has been very long to get our order because the staff working there was reduced to the bare minimum. Around 45 minutes on a Monday night at 19.30. But let me tell you the wait was well worth it in the end because of their fantastic pizzas, my Wife and I tried 2 Neapolitan style pizzas, just incredible. Tasty, dough well made and skilfully cooked and seasoned. Will be back to try more pizza options. So far I would consider this pizza among the best around.

Primariamente non è possibile confermare le numerose recensioni che parlano di orazioni blasfeme continuative, forse per via della giornata scelta del compatrono San Bernardo. Si nota, come già segnalato da alcune recensioni, la lieve somiglianza con Tonino Crepezzi dei Camaleonti. Certo è che viene ancora più rimarcata dalla mancanza del cappello da chef di ordinanza. In ogni caso la proposta et articolata addirittura osata nelle pizze piemontese, che prevede bagnacauda, peperoni eccetera, e nella pizza di Ormea ben farcita di ogni leccornia che accompagna l’abbondante quantità di funghi porcini. Tali pizze sono sapienti e di buon gusto. Il servizio è cortese, la temperatura troppo alta d’estate. È incredibile come un paese piccolo come Ormea possa ospitare due pizzerie, peraltro vicine, di così alta qualità: la via del sale e la forgia (sarebbero tre se non fosse stata chiusa Le trou). Il conto non so perché per una volta non ho pagato io

Che dire di questa pizzeria..... lunedì sera 4 adulti 2 bambine ora di arrivo 19.30 un caldo allucinante, tanto che mio marito non si è sentito bene...più volte abbiamo chiesto se almeno si poteva tenere la porta d'entrata aperta ma niente...mai che si abbassassero le temperature!! Al momento dell'ordinazione vedendo che in carta non avevano alternative oltre la pizza abbiamo chiesto se per cortesia potevano fare alle bambine dei wurstel ,risposta "NO noi non cuciniamo!!!" Se volete c'è del prosciutto!!! (E menomale che dicono che noi liguri siamo ostili con i turisti!! Evidentemente hanno preso spunto!!) Comunque una volta fatto la comanda ...abbiamo dovuto aspettare più di 1 ora per essere serviti!!! (Fra l'altro le pizze delle bambine sono arrivate per ultime!) Tanto che quando sono arrivate le pizze, fra caldo e nervosismo generale le bevande le avevamo gia ultimate!!! La pizza devo dire molto buona ma tutto offuscato da questo malessere di ospitalità!!! E per finire in bellezza? Non funziona il pos...ed evidente non vanno nemmeno più di moda gli scontrini fiscali !!! Aaah dimenticavo.... il personale di cucina non indossava il copricapo...
