There was noone to welcome us and we sat. To then be shouted at what time is it what do want...a lovely way to great someone wanting to PAY hard earned money to have something to eat. Very rude 😒 about turned and spent our money else where. We could have spent nearly 100 € for all she knew. Lack of customer service skills that's for sure. Wouldn't recommend. Talked about something being reserved 🙄 about 3pm at this point there was only 3 people there 1 in the restaurant and 2 outside drinking. So not packed at all. Service with a smile and welcoming goes a long way.
RESPONCE TO THE COMMENT BACK: Your reply is blatantly untrue. The waitress was rude from the very beginning, confronting us with “what are you doing here, what time is it now?” rather than welcoming us. According to the information online, your restaurant serves food all day, and when we arrived, the restaurant was not closed – it was open, with no sign or instruction to wait to be seated (Recommend a sign to state: Wait to be seated). There was also no one at the entrance to greet customers (Recommend: A sign to state that you were closed), and QR codes were placed on the tables, which naturally suggest that guests may sit down and order. If the restaurant was indeed closed, how is it that you were still serving other people? One person in the restaurant eating and 2 people seated outside with drinks. At no point did anyone politely explain where we should sit. Instead, we were rudely told that we “should have asked first” and were “taught” that when entering a restaurant we should greet the staff – something that was said in a condescending and disrespectful tone. We politely asked if we could stay at the table we had chosen, especially since there was only one other customer inside, but we were told no. No table for two was ever prepared for us, and at no stage were we offered lasagne or parmesan, as you now claim. Instead, when we said we would rather leave and go somewhere else, we were shouted at with “then go to the other one!!!” This was by far the worst dining experience we have ever had – a complete lack of customer service, zero professionalism, and a rude attitude from the...
Read moreAvoid this place. The service is terrible. We waited outside for a table to free up inside. Asked for drink whilst we waited outside but we had to carry it ourself. I asked why and waitress said they don't do service outside. We were offered a table inside however the waitress did not offer to carry our drinks from earlier to the restaurant table, she just watched how our hands were overloaded with glasses and bottles. Unfortunately we were seated next to some local guys, from the local water sports/activities business. They seemed to know eachother since the one of the waitresses kept returning for public displays of affection and enchroaching on our personal space whilst doing so, standing over our table. These guys were seated at same time as us. They were served and their lunch already finished and table cleared and we hadn't even recieved our food yet. The wait was not worth it. The Dorata is frozen and the garnish is made up of frozen courgette and carrot with some pine seeds. Had the texture of mush with no flavour for €25 would expect better. The zuppa Di cozze was served in red tinted water. There was no flavour, barely any tomato or garlic or chilli just plain boiled cozze. Our bill was almost €80 so not the cheapest with this in mind you would hope the toilets would have soap at least but just water and hope for the best or bring your own.
However the most disturbing was the constant trips from the waitress up to this group of lads and getting touched right next to our table whilst the others lads would shout accros the room jokes to engage the other patrons. Lacking in respect for others whilst encouraged to continue their behaviour...
Read moreThe worst experience ever. The waitress was the rudess person ever. Does not even deserve a 1 star but have to give something to review. AVOID!!!
Responce to the comments from the Restaurant:
I can definitely confirm that I was there in Orosei together with my companion, and what the restaurant has written in their reply below is simply not true. From the very beginning the waitress was rude, asking “what are you doing here, what time is it now?” instead of welcoming us. The restaurant was open, there were QR codes on the tables suggesting you could sit and order, and there was no sign or staff member at the entrance to indicate otherwise.
At no point did anyone politely explain that we should wait to be seated. Instead, we were rudely told that we “should have asked first” and were lectured that when entering a restaurant we must greet the staff – which was said in a condescending way. We were never offered lasagne or parmesan as claimed, and no table for two was prepared for us. When we politely said we would go elsewhere, we were shouted at with “then go to the other one!!!”
This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had, with a lack of basic hospitality and respect from the start.
Such a shame, as the view from the restaurant was amazing – this could have been a wonderful experience, but instead it left a very...
