Ziu Jacheddu | Ristopub e Kebab Sardo — Restaurant in Orosei

3 stars because quite customer unfriendly service: as we come we were not warned about closure in 10 Minutes (because waiter wanted to sell extra pizza's + sitting fee 1.50xPerson ?). Pretended not to speak English and did not even try to understand. Unwelcoming facial expression.

We arrived after 14 o'clock, waiter ( Y45-50+ with short hair/bold with glasses) wanted to sit us inside at the table right by the entrance door to kitchen (hotter & louder). We objected, as restaurant was almost empty and we wanted to sit at nicer place. Had to insist on it, as waiter pretended he does not understand English at all, I had to use my basic Italian to explain. So we got good table. We ordered 2 pizza and juices. Pizza came very fast (

Tourist trap, don't go here! I only give 1 star, because Google doesnt give me the option to give none. From the moment we walked in the restaurant untill we paid the bill (which they overcharged), it was a BAD experience. We are people who find a positive in everything but this time, we couldn' t find any. The staff: rude, doesn't ask if everything is OK (because they probably know it isnt). Look like they hate their life/job. The food: their ''specialty'' kebab wasnt tavailable, which they told us after we wanted to order it..got fish instead: not fresh and weird tasting(possibly not even sea creatures) Salad tasted off and even this italian restaurant could ruin a Pizza! The tomato base tasted like cheap canned tomato sauce and the toppings didnt taste like anything, not fresh. Even a Pizza from the freezer is better. Big tourist trap. You can tell the staff doesnt care about the people/quality of the food, they just want your money. And quick.. because the next coustumers are waiting... Literally have never had a bad meal in Italy, until this restaurant....

Siamo stati oggi a pranzo...L'anno scorso avrei dato 4 perché il kebab sardo è proprio buono per quest'anno 1sola stella è questi sono i motivi: 1- Senza preavviso ne cartello all'esterno del locale che avvisa il kebab sardo (motivo della nostra visita)lo fanno dal 1 settembre solo la sera... peccato che è super pubblicizzato e dichiarato che è un prodotto registrato e di vanto per loro... Ok il kebab sardo non c'è il cameriere ci vuole propinare le cozze... noi non volevamo pesce pensiamo di mangiar una pizza i miei figli ( buone forchette seppur piccini) vogliono una wurstel e patatine e una con la salsiccia... e lui ci dice facciamo metà per uno perché sono grandi... va bene... però ha pensato vedendo il bambino piccolo di fare una metà con la salsiccia e una metà margherita... il che loro poi entrambi volevano la salsiccia... e la Margherita la snobbavano... quindi questo è un primo motivo... dico io possono scegliere loro stessi o al massimo noi genitori cosa devono mangiare? Nel mentre noi sceglievano le nostre pizze lui continuava a dire... scegliete quello che volete io mangerei cozze...alla fine quando l'abbiamo chiamato al tavolo prendere l'ordinazione (x i bambini aveva già mandato avanti la pizza a suo piacimento) abbiamo ordinato una wurstel e patatine una porcini una ferula e pancetta una tonno e cipolle più una porzione di patatine È qui ci ha richiesto.... quindi niente cozze??? 🙄le pizze, buone appena fatte ma dure quando si raffreddano, le patatine 3 birre medie due bottiglie da mezzo litro di acqua una coca 0 e una radler 4 caffè per concludere (gramo ma veramente gramo) 76.50 nemmeno in centro a Milano pago così! Prima dei caffè ci chiede se vogliamo un dolce ma diciamo di no solo mia figlia dice che voleva il dolce...ma sapendo che era piena le ho detto di no... il gentile cameriere si intromette è dice...te lo porta zio tore un dolcetto... un bel amaretto... che ancora stiamo aspettando... l'ha detto così per dire suppongo ma una bambina piccola se gli dici ti do un dolce e poi non glielo dai...Non è proprio soddisfatta... penso che l'anno prossimo ci tornerei... ma se non hanno il kebab sardo......
