August 2014 we stayed at the Tenuta di Corbara for the first time in our life. We had an appartment booked in the Oglieto house (ground floor) and were there for 2.5 weeks (2 adults and 2 kids aged 7 and 10). The agriturismo as such is really good and offers plenty of things to do for a family (we did some horse riding and guided tours ourselves). The - really big, well kept and clean - apartment we booked was ''in the middle of nowhere'' on a high hill offering unique views over the city of Oriveto and the countryside around it. Fantastic! Now I asked the waitress what she recommended, Pork Tenderloin she said and I am so glad I did! I am not a fan of pork but this was the best meal I have eaten! Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about the food (& the wine of course). I wanted to thank the chef and it turns out the chef was the waitress's Mumma! ||||After a good nights sleep, we opened the shutters to the sunrise over the Umbria hills, breakfast had a wide variety & the biscotti was awesome! ||||Before leaving we checked out the gift shop and left with some great olive oil, pesto, wine & grappa. We wanted to stay for a 2nd night but the place was booked out for a wedding. ||||If you ever get a chance to go to Umbria, I would definitely recommend...
