The freshest seafood in Europe I'd say! The cold starter of jumbo prawns - gamberoni rossi - was a revelation. Simply out of this world, so sweet and juicy, and above all, fresh. I still dream about them! My friend from HongKong was in heaven when presented with the cold starter selection - all unbelievably fresh and delicious. The wine is outstanding to match the standard of the food. The service is friendly and very helpful. When we visited, Tiziano and his wife Rita who run the restaurant were at hand to advise us and their choices and friendliness made the visit pretty unforgettable. Southern Italy has some incredible seafood and we had some of our favourite dishes here! Service was superb - as two Canadians with less Italian than many, we’ve had mixed experiences for understandable reasons, but we had nothing but kind, courteous service here both nights we came. You have to have the octopus (the appetizer and the main dish are both so good!). We liked it enough to come back twice in three nights during our honeymoon. You likely will too. The 'catch of the day' fish tasted bitter and I had to send it back. They offered an other dish - I thought as a compensation. Still they put both dishes in the bill! It was almost impossible to complain since the waiters don't speak English. After 5 minutes of embarrassing conversation they removed the cheaper dish from the bill. They didn't apologize at all.
