Aquariva — Restaurant in Padenghe sul Garda

Wow, what a memorable lunch! My mother and I stopped by this restaurant after she had previously visited with some friends and couldn’t stop talking about it. The place is absolutely beautiful, clearly well looked after, with attention to detail in both the decor and table setup.

The menu offers a wonderful selection of dishes, mostly fish-based, though there are also intriguing veggie and meat options available. Honestly, everything sounded so good that it was hard to choose!

We each ordered a starter, a main, and a dessert, and wow, everything was fantastic. The starter and main course were especially exquisite: beautifully presented, full of flavor, and unique in their combinations. The dessert was good too, though in my opinion, it didn’t quite match the sophistication and depth of the other two courses.

The staff were welcoming and very attentive. There was a slight delay with our mains due to a large tourist group arriving, but they were so kind about it. apologizing sincerely and even gifting us a bottle of local olive oil as a gesture of goodwill.

This is definitely a higher-end, elegant restaurant, perfect for a special occasion or if you just feel like treating yourself to a lovely meal. It is on the pricier side, but in my opinion, totally worth it for the experience...

🌟 Wonderful Dinner Experience with a Small Downside We had a lovely dinner at Aquariva and were truly impressed by the quality of the food and the overall atmosphere. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor — clearly made with great care and top-quality ingredients. Compliments to the chef! A special mention goes to the kind gesture of congratulating my wife — it was done in a very thoughtful and pleasant way, and added a personal touch to our evening. Moments like these make a dining experience truly memorable. The only downside was that at a nearby table, a couple were continuously smoking electronic cigarettes throughout the evening. The smell was unfortunately quite unpleasant and distracting. In a restaurant of this level, we were surprised this was allowed — or at least not addressed — as it did affect the otherwise refined ambiance. Not a surprise they are in a Michelin guide. We had a fish tasting menu, which was really great. The "bambini" with us had a milanese which was perfect. The wine list is huge but there is something at for everyone, I mean there bottles at very accessible price points. We had a really good meal. They were very friendly and accommodating (I arrived on a wrong date and they still prepared a table and still made it b day as I mentioned on the note on reservation even though I did not mention it when arriving knowing that I arrived at the wrong date).
