Circolo Arci S. Gervasio — Restaurant in Palaia

Such an authentic Italy feel to this resturant. We loved it so much that after eating away once we had to go back again the next day. This is a family run restuarant and it shows just how hard they work and how much they care. The food was beautiful, although a limited menu for those that dont speak/read Italian, the choices that were written in English for us were astounding and they were open to making anything that we requested, when we did ask for something that wasnt on the 'English menu'. We loved the atmosphere of this family run restaurant, busy with locals, laughter and smiles, it was exactly what we wanted to experience. We dont like the fake restaurants you get in the city centres. We will never forget Resturant S.Gervasio!! Thank you. Keep up...

Dopo anni che adoro questo locale stasera ho avuto una brutta sorpresa,ordino 2 antipasti e 2 trippe e mi viene detto che la pappa al pomodoro non c'è..va bene,anche se mi piace particolarmente ne faccio a meno.arriva l'antipasto per 2 e mi viene detto che la trippa non c'è,va bene ordino pollo e coniglio fritti e braciole fritte rifatte nel pomodoro..antipasto per 2:affettati misti,3 crostini(proprio 3 di numero!)e 4 micro fettine di formaggio..dopo 5 minuti che finiamo l'antipasto arrivano i secondi(vuoi mandarmi via?)pollo e coniglio fritti buoni anche se poco cotti,braciole rifatte che sembravano quelle del supermercato passate nel pomodoro...vado a pagare e sul banco del bar c'è un vassoio per riparare al rubinetto che gocciola e le formiche che girellano allegre sul banco..premesso che ho sempre consigliato a amici e conoscenti questo locale per l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo,mi sono sentito preso per il c..o.non so se sia stata una serata complicata o ci siano stati dei grossi cambiamenti in cucina,ma è palese che non è più il posto che conoscevo,dove ho fatto cene di lavoro,con amici e con la mia compagna.per quanto mi possa dispiacere,visto che era rimasto uno dei pochi ristoranti dove potevi mangiare veramente toscano,non mi...

The atmosphere was amazing. Very cozy home feeling. Chef and barman doubled down on serving the tables and made sure everyone is happy. The smile on the chef's face when I took a picture of the yummy food was priceless.
