What a wonderful evening! An authentic, homemade meal in a truly special place. All the way from South Africa, we had heard of this little restaurant from the Molise

Antonio welcomed us like family and crafted a meal for us with passion and care: antipasti, pizza, pasta — everything arrived at the table with that unmistakable local generosity.

Then came the most touching part of the evening: we were served by his 12-year-old son, Francesco, who wanted to help his dad. He served us with his heart and passion, and it was a beautiful surprise to see such a young boy supporting his father with such grace and professionalism.

Eravamo a mangiare durante la pausa pranzo, ci hanno proposto il menù fisso e, dopo aver chiesto più volte se scegliendo quello sarebbero riusciti a garantirci di mangiare in un tempo accettabile abbiamo optato per quello. In più di un’ora e mezza sono riusciti a portarci solo gli antipasti ed i primi, nonostante, noi con molta educazione, avessimo chiesto di fare il prima possibile perché dovevamo andare via. Per la troppa attesa siamo stati costretti ad alzarci a metà menù chiedendo di non pagare il menù per intero ed il proprietario con atteggiamento stizzito e saccente aveva detto di poter togliere 5€ al costo del menu, poi di toglierne 8€ e poi (dopo un ripensamento) 7€ dicendo che “lui non sta lì per pettinare le bambole”. 7€ in meno senza aver potuto mangiare la carne e la frutta che erano previsti mi sembra davvero poco, tenendo conto anche che i primi erano 2 piatti al centro del tavolo per 4 persone. Il cibo era anche abbastanza buono, peccato per la scortesia ed il servizio eccessivamente lento, che valgono molto più del cibo. Came back here for a second time for my birthday today and treated myself to one of the best steaks of my life! The whole visit was great, we were well looked after and look forward to coming back here on our next trip. I highly recommend this restaurant to anybody who loves meat...
