We were here on holiday in June 2024 and we are very satisfied. The holiday was made more pleasant by the family and friendly atmosphere that the owners naturally create. It was very clean, cosy everywhere and it is obvious that they look after the cottage as best they can. The food was great value for money and very tasty. Dopo aver fatto una bella escursione Lago Avostanis e Cima Timau, io e il mio amico ci siamo fermati a mangiare qualcosa in questa malga. Per me è stata la prima volta ma ci ritornerò su. Il locale è molto rustico, in simbiosi con la montagna. Ci sono posti a sedere fuori e dentro. Dentro lo spettacolo lo fa un bel caminetto acceso. I posti sono "chi prima arriva, meglio alloggia". Se c'è gente bisogna avere pazienza..nel frattempo potete gustarvi la natura sulle panchine o dondoli appena fuori del locale. Ci siamo seduti e il personale è arrivato subito con il menù. Consigliatissimo l'antipasto tagliere misto di affettati e formaggi.. noi l'abbiamo preso medio con una birra doppio malto. Buona anche quella. Ci sono tutte le specialità friulane: frico con polenta, salsicce, affrettati vari, formaggi vari, primi di pasta, secondi ecc... Nel servire dopo l'ordinazione, sono stati veloci a portare da mangiare.. Poi gli amanti delle grappe ci sono vari tipi. Dolci non li abbiamo presi....ma ho visto passare fette di strudel che sono la fine del mondo. La prossima volta mi prendo un fetta! Oltretutto tutte le pietanze compresi i dolci, sono tutte curate e ben disposte sui piatti. Cosa dire.... Consigliatissimo!!!!!!!!!! E strafogatevi di tanta buon cibo in mezzo alla natura! I prezzi sono nello standard ma pur sempre nella normalità considerando gli aumenti di questo periodo e considerando...

Great place to be. Easy (and dusty) off-road to reach it in the middle of the forest. Rewarding trekking of about 2hr to reach a nice alpin lake with on a side a steep carsic mountain.
