This was our 2nd visit in recent in a week. We popped in Christmas Eve for a quick lunch which was exceptional vale for 2 courses at €10,00 each. First class pasta course to start and then you have a section from the hot plates. Had the breaded chicken and baby roast potatoes. Well, that was us done in for the afternoon!!!

Returned the following Saturday evening so we could try the full menu. Big smiles greeted us as we walked in. The meal was very good indeed and very reasonable with wine and beers. The Veal, pork and chicken was superb along with roasted vegetables.

Such a nice setting, farm house interiors with nice service and it truly feels like grandmas cooking. From our first bite this restaurant had us wanting to return. All the way down to their unique balsamic vinegar, strong flavor with a lemony touch, it really adds to the extra virgin olive oil. Locale a primo impatto ben curato, dal menù si evince una certa cura e ricerca degli ingredienti migliori, impressione che purtroppo viene totalmente smentita da servizio superficiale e dozzinale, ingredienti da discount a fronte di prezzi totalmente fuori controllo. Abbiamo mangiato due pizze: una carbo tartufo e una nostrale, considerate "speciali" al prezzo di 15 euro l'una. Terribili è dire nulla, l'impasto è quello utilizzato per la torta al testo senza sale, il "tartufo" si presentava come un sottaceto nerastro e senza alcun sapore né odore, la mortadella dell'altra pizza era palesemente in vaschetta presa al supermercato, il pistacchio non si è visto. Abbiamo chiesto qualche informazione rispetto al tartufo e ci è stato mostrato un tartufo intero (perfettamente integro) che non aveva nulla a che vedere con la poltiglia sulla nostra pizza e il cameriere sosteneva di aver preso quel tartufo dalla stessa busta. Perchè, per fugare ogni dubbii, non mostrare direttamente il pezzo da cui sarebbe stato tagliato il tartufo della nostra pizza? Il cameriere si è anche dimostrato dispiaciuto ma va detto che ci vuole preparazione e professionalità e non sono stati dimostrati.
