La Locanda del Busta — Restaurant in Panicale

We had our wedding locally and took our guests out for a welcome meal to this great restaurant. It’s so beautifully decorated and spacious with a convenient car park out the front.

I organised the booking through Tanja via WhatsApp and she was very efficient for this large booking and curated a delicious menu we could all share across three big tables. The food was divine and everyone was really impressed with the quality and abundance of the food. The salumi pizza was a favourite. The Aperol spritz was the best we had during our trip to Italy. We were so full, Tanja packed up our desserts to take home. They were thoroughly enjoyed later in the evening.

We loved the atmosphere and you can see it’s popular with the locals as all the tables were full.

Tanja was amazing and ensured everyone was catered for with dietary requirements and we really appreciate her efforts as well as the other staff who served us. We recently got married at a venue in Tavernelle, and a few days before the wedding, we booked this restaurant for a meal with our wedding party and family. We had been here once before a year earlier when we came and visited the venue. Both times we have had the best experience, the food is amazing and the staff are lovely. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, you're welcomed by Francesco the owner as soon as you walk in, and both him and his staff are very attentive throughout. At one point Francesco came over to our table to show us the truffles they had picked earlier that day, which made me excited as I had ordered truffle pasta. The food is pure perfection. You cannot describe the happiness it creates within you. I'm not an easily pleased person but there is literally nothing negative to point here. You walk in and being welcome by incredibly friendly owner Francesco, the stuff is pointing you to your table. To our surprise, everyone speaks (better or worse but still speaks) English. The food itself is heaven. Whatever you choose it will put a smile on your face. And if you take time to look around you will see the same smile on everyone else's face's.
